Shri. Santosh B. Nayar, Chairman and Independent Director
Shri Santosh B. Nayar has a rich experience of around 40 years in Banking Industry in Corporate, Investment and International Banking ,Project Finance as well as in Life Insurance industry. He was the Chairman & Managing Director in India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) for a period of 3 1/2 years.
He was a member of the Dr Kulkarni Committee on Revisiting and Revitalizing the PPP Model of Infrastructure Development set up by Government of India. He was also appointed by the Ministry of Finance as the Chairman of The Working Group for examining the suggestions made by the Association of Power Producers (APP).
He was earlier the Managing Director and CEO of IFCI Limited . He was Deputy Managing Director and Group Head of State Bank of India's Large Corporate Business, Project Finance and Infrastructure Lending Division Financial Institution Business Group, Transaction Banking Group and Cash Management business .
He was member in the core team, which set up SBI Life Insurance Co Ltd., as a joint venture with a French Insurance Company.
